Holiday Inn, Tuban - May/June 2010

Our first stop was the Holiday Inn at Tuban where we stayed in a Family Suite for 6 nights. The kids just loved their themed room with a ship's wheel at the end of their bed, beanbags and xbox....

We really loved the pool area - you could always find a sun lounge and it never seemed too crowded. The gazebos were just lovely for chilling out with a good book.

The buffet breakfast was one of the best I'd ever had, so much variety and very fresh. We only ate dinner in the hotel once, preferring to eat at some of our favorite restaurants (Kori, Poppies, TJ's, Poco Loco) and try some new ones as well (Pantai).

The hotel grounds were really lovely with lots of comfy lounges spread out on the grass and plenty of room for the kids to play

One afternoon we sampled the cocktails from the pool bar whilst sitting on the day beds watching the sunset.  Having not been bothered to return to our room and shower before dinner, we ordered pizza & salad from the Envy Bar that evening which was really good.  The kids had fun playing bongos with the band. 

After 6 nights at the Holiday Inn in Tuban, our next stop is Sanur.
